Linga at BIPOD
This year (2019) MASAHAT (Landscapes) dance network is inviting Swiss dance company Linga to present its performance “FLOW” in Beirut, Amman and Ramallah.
Linga will present its creation “FLOW” at BIPOD–Beirut International Platform of Dance, Amman Contemporary Dance Festival (ACDF) and Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival (RCDF).
About The Performance:
FLOW
Cie Linga & KEDA
Duration: 60 min.
Inspired by the astonishing performance and ensemble movements of grouped animals, this new creation by Linga explores the formation, velocity and spatial coherence amongst species and their members. From shoals of fish, to swarms of insects, Flow engages in the possibilities of new choreographic dynamics based on collective consciousness, as suggested through the study of these animals and their movement.
This performance also marks a first ever collaboration with the French-Korean duet Keda, who gracefully add a layer of textures rhythms and electronic sounds by means of the ancestral tones of the Geomungo instrument.
