Swiss Singer-Songwriter Lea Lu is starting a tour in Egypt this August. Lea is coming with her musical quartet to hold 3 concerts in Alexandria and Cairo. The tour will start with a jamming session with Alexandrian musicians and Bsarya for arts on August 6, 2019, then the quartet will participate in International Summer Festival, organized by the Art Center of Bibliotheca Alexandrina on August 7, and they will conclude the tour with a performance on CJC’s stage in a very special edition of #ThursdayNightLive on August 8th, followed by Egyptian singer/songwriter HanyMust هاني مصطفي who will perform a collection of original songs from his upcoming album, due to be released later this year.

Lea Lu:
Lea started playing violin at the age of 5, later shifting her focus to piano and guitar. As the lead singer of jazz/pop band Nexus, she performed at Montreux Jazz Festival 2002 at the age of 18. Her debut album “Dots and Lines” was released on Sony Music in 2006. As a young artist, she gained wide international recognition and played over 150 concerts all over the world. She later released two widely acclaimed full length albums, “Colour” in 2011 and “2”in 2014. In 2016 she got invited with her band as a special-guest for a sold-out Coldplay show at Letzigrund Stadion Zurich.

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
