Viola Rohner was born in Männedorf (Switzerland) in 1962. She studied German Philology, History and Theater Sicence in Zürich and Berlin. She lives in Zürich and Innsbruck (Austria) and works as a highschool teacher for German language and literature and gives creative writing classes. She writes prose and theater plays for adults and also for children. She got several prizes and scholarships for her work. Her most recent book will be published in fall 2018 by Lenos. It is a collection of short stories with the title ’42 Degrees’.
