A Cairo born and based comic book artist with a knack for social commentary & sci-fi.
He Graduated with honors from the faculty of fine arts, Helwan university, Painting department. 2005 class valedictorian.
Salah has worked across a multitude of visual communication disciplines since 2002; starting out with comics and painting, and venturing into areas such as animation, editorial cartoons, illustration and advertising.
His work was published in magazines and newspapers such as Samir, Toktok, Al-Masry Alyoum and Al-Shorouk, and exhibited in Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia and Angoulême, France.
He took part in numerous comics workshops in Egypt, Tunisia, Poland, Denmark and France as a participant and a tutor, and was a resident in La Cite Internationale Des Arts [France] & La maison de Gurnah [Luxor].
Salah is a Cairocomix Grand prix and a Mahmoud Kahil award winner.
