Swiss Fashion Association in Dubai Design Week

The Swiss Fashion Association participated in Dubai Design Week, November 2021, during Expo Dubai 2020, with a concept pop up store that featured a number of Swiss designers.

With the aim of positioning Swiss design in the Arab Region and introducing the fine designers to the regional market, the pop up store displayed works by 10 emerging Swiss designers:   Felix Doll (jewelry), Forbidden Denimeries (womenswear), Lida Noba (womenswear and jewelry), Mama Tierra (accessories) Maya Seyferth (footwear), Ninka Pop (jewelry), Sabine Porteiner (silk scarves) and Weer (womenswear).

Founded in 2018, the Swiss Fashion Association, SFA, is the first association dedicated exclusively to the promotion and the valorisation of the Swiss fashion culture and creative industry. It accompanies, promotes and empowers emerging designers and fashion professionals in their local and international development and connects them with the market. The SFA creates synergies by facilitating the exchange between designers, brands, fashion professionals and other fashion industry players. To enhance the visibility of its members, events, conferences and workshops are frequently held, with focus on the strategic development of the talents that make tomorrow’s fashion.
