Arts Council Pro Helvetia has now gone live.

V/A – Various Artists is an editorially independent publication aimed at internationally active arts and cultural practitioners with the intention of sharing their perspectives, experiences and practices in selected contributions. V/A offers a forum for authors and artists from various scenes, countries, and environments – decentralised, connected and promising a lot of surprises.

other contributions, but is also building its own network of international publishing partners. For this purpose, V/A – Various Artists has linked up with independent magazines and platforms from around the world, which take over articles and publish them in different languages and formats. This extends the reach of each contribution and also increases the likelihood of articles finding a committed readership.

The Lebanese platform Raseef22, the Swiss magazine La Couleur des Jours and the Danish-American print magazine Viscose are among those who are sharing the initial contributions.. V/A – Various Artists is published in English and links to translations in the partner publications. Planned are around 75 articles a year. The agency staaacks is responsible for the editorial work, the web design was developed by Hammer.

V/A – Various Artists succeeds Pro Helvetia’s former print magazine Passages, which was produced up to 2015.

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
