Marius Kob directing a puppet making workshop in Cairo within the CIFCET activities
Swiss puppeteer Marius Kob is directing a puppet making workshop in Cairo as part of the Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater from July 16th to 20th of July 2018.
The chosen title for the workshop is “Vivid Things” focusing on the objects and how they could be transferred to the greatest storytellers. Their narrative potential is big; poetic expression and a special language are inhabiting the ordinary things.
The participants will get a chance to discover ways to animate objects and material so that they can create an access to their innate language ant invent stories.
This year marks the silver jubilee celebration of the Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater, and the 30th anniversary of Pro Helvetia Cairo.
